We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to collecting and sharing the stories of gay sons and their mothers, from moments of tenderness to experiences of pain, growth, and celebration.

Founded by psychotherapist Rick Miller, Gay Sons & Mothers exists to shift the cultural conversation around identity, family, and acceptance, one story at a time.

We offer interviews, educational tools, community outreach, and resources for individuals and organizations seeking to better understand and support LGBTQ+ identities through the lens of family relationships
